Social Media Assets
Our client Michelle is a spiritual mindset coach and podcaster who came to us for a complete branding identity overhaul. One of the biggest pain points she was dealing with before working with us was feeling like her personal aesthetic was being pulled in many different directions. She wanted to channel the archetype of both the sage and the mystic while keeping the aesthetic minimal to tie into an essentialist approach with her content.
The Visual Identity
We combined strong imagery of her portrait photographs in muted, desaturated outfit choices with a offset black, infused with aubergine to bring out the mystic archetype. She wanted to represent an individualistic quality that is confident, bold, yet calm. So pairing the black with a heather warm shade of beige white was complimentary to the black.
The Mahoney Logo Typeface is both balanced in it's feminine soft lines with the bold strokes. The 'M' symbol contains a star that is representative of how she named one of her program offerings: The North Star Pillars. Her work makes frequent allusions to the north star imagery.
State of Being Podcast
The State of Being podcast is the sister project of Michelle's main business where she interviews and connects with likeminded entrepreneurs on their personal and professional life, and how that connects to their passion and purpose. Michelle's design needed to connect to the main business, but also has a unique language that differentiates it from her main branding style. We created both title artwork, as well as promotional Instagram Story templates for each episode.
